Navigating 5G and EMF Sensitivity with Veronica Ciandre
Thursday Feb 25, 2021
Thursday Feb 25, 2021
Veronica Ciandre is creator of high vibration jeweller line iSOLA.
Designed to help your body re-harmonize with its natural frequencies, iSOLA aims to help you bring wellness with you wherever you go.
Veronica joins Nathalie today to discuss her experiences with frequencies, how they affect her and how you can protect yourself if you share her sensitivity.
Back in 2010, the building that Veronica lived in had 25 cell towers installed on the roof, 10 of which were right above her apartment. Within a short amount of time, Veronica started experiencing a myriad of physical symptoms. She had symptoms of insomnia, dizziness and headaches. The symptoms continued and within 6 months developed into symptoms of chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s, arthritis, tremors, and more.
After going on a camping trip to re-wild herself, she experienced an alleviation of symptoms, only to find them return when she came home. After extensive research and investigation by Dr. Magda Havass, Veronica came to the realization that it was the frequencies that affected her.
Veronica uses affirmations to help her stay focused and to talk to her own DNA.
The power of using affirmations everyday and practicing gratitude for that which is good has been a driving force in her life.

Ahimsa - A Perspective on Non Violence with John Strickler
Tuesday Feb 09, 2021
Tuesday Feb 09, 2021
In today’s conversation, John Strickler, Nathalie’s partner, here to dive into non-violence and exploring the meaning of ahimsa.
For John, ahimsa means non-violence against yourself, others, animals, and the Earth.
The Earth is our home and should be respected and treated with reverence, not polluted and destroyed. If you see something out of place, something wrong, it is your responsibility to speak up and take action.
Learning self-love is a process, and there will be times where you honor yourself and times when you don’t. It is important to remember that we are all works in progress. Everyone has a dharma or purpose, and some have many. John believes we are born with our purpose but that it takes time and work to discover it.
Nathalie brings the conversation full circle back to self-love and the differences between how feminine and masculine perspective changes the experience of self-love.
To end the episode, John offers advice for grounding yourself and giving yourself grace, and the two discuss the new addition to their household.
In this episode we mentioned - Kamal Ravikant, who is the author of the bestselling books, Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends and Live Your Truth comes Rebirth.

Creating Strategy with Josh Biro
Tuesday Jan 19, 2021
Tuesday Jan 19, 2021
Josh Biro is the Founder of The Yogapreneur Collective and Head Coach at Nomad Business Coaching, a consulting company that helps yoga studio owners systematize their businesses for more profit and peace of mind.
He joins Nathalie today to discuss time management, nomadic lifestyles, and viewing health as a totality.
Josh begins today’s discussion by explaining The Yogapreneur Collective and how he helps others in the yoga industry by creating community. He discovered yoga later in life even though he comes from a yoga family.
He went from becoming a teacher, to helping others with their studios, to opening his own studio with his wife. They ultimately sold the business and have spent the last 6 years travelling the world with their 3 children.
If you are feeling discouraged as a small business owner by the events of the past year, Josh offers some advice.
Clarify your vision and step into your fear. If you are trying something new, you are bound to be nervous.
Learn to schedule your life (even your time off) and live by your schedule. Look at where you are going and what needs to happen to get you there.
To end the episode, Josh takes us through his morning routine and how he combines physicality with meditation.
If you are looking to start a health journey this year, do what makes you feel happy and grounded. You can always do something, no matter where you are.

Cultivating Opposites ~ Pratipaksha Bhavana
Wednesday Dec 09, 2020
Wednesday Dec 09, 2020
Today we are discussing the yoga sutra of Pratipaksha Bhavana, the concept of opposites. It states “when disturbed by negative thoughts, opposite ones should be thought of.” Nathalie discusses how to practice Pratipaksha Bhavana, the power of contemplation, and coming back to yourself.
Pratipaksha Bhavana can be used when you are in a state of emotional turbulence to help you release painful and destructive emotions. If you can practice this, it can help you reach a higher place spiritually. It is easier said than done to set aside those feelings. Over time, we become psychologically and neurologically habituated to the experience.
Removing yourself from the situation can help you with that release and offer perspective. The practice of Pratipaksha Bhavana is about contemplation of the opposite. Ask yourself if you are addicted to the sensations negative emotions produce. If so, ask yourself if you really need to be connected to extremes all the time. Feel your breath and focus on your body.
Consistent practice and dedication are the foundation of all yoga. Love, peace, and harmony are the natural states of our souls and through practice you can align. With continuous work and curiosity, you can learn how to come back to yourself.

The FiT for Joy Interview with Nathalie Croix
Thursday Nov 05, 2020
Thursday Nov 05, 2020
In today’s special episode, Nathalie joins Valeria Teles on the Fit for Joy podcast. Together they discuss Nathalie’s journey, how manifesting change begins, and the importance of taking responsibility for the planet we call home.
Nathalie sees herself as a citizen of the world. Always moving and travelling when she was younger meant that her world has always been diverse. For others, that isn’t always the case. To overcome judgemental behaviours, look to the conditioning and perimeters set upon you. Dismantle them and learn to live in acceptance and others.
Discussing her book, Living Life with Light, Nathalie tells us how it is an expression of her journey and learnings in the many aspects of healing. When looking to change and heal, she reminds us that everyone has a different story and seeks validation. Ask your questions to the universe and know that you will receive the answers you need for your growth.
For Nathalie, love cannot begin without a deep love of your self first. Look inward and forgive yourself. Let go of what holds you back from unconditional love and give yourself grace. Nothing in this life is certain, only that everything changes. Open yourself to the flow and let the Universe guide you.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with Pedro Valente
Tuesday Sep 01, 2020
Tuesday Sep 01, 2020
Pedro Valente has been honouring the jujutsu tradition his entire life. Along with his brothers, Pedro runs The Valente Brothers Jiu-Jitsu Self Defense School in Florida. He joins Nathalie today to discuss the philosophy of jujutsu, tradition, and finding and accepting the flow of life.
Pedro and his brothers began learning the art when they were young from their father, and by world renowned Jiu-Jitsu grandmasters Hélio Gracie, who founded the self-defence martial art system of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. At age 18, Pedro moved from Brazil to the US to attend the University of Miami School of Business Administration. Growing up, Pedro always knew that jujutsu would be a part of his life.
The philosophy of jujutsu is as important as the practice, if not more, to Pedro. It can be applied to daily life and helps to build self confidence and self esteem. By building confidence in your physical abilities, you are building your self esteem and changing your perspective of yourself. You are seeing yourself with true worth.
It is important to accept the flow of life and try not to resist change.
Jujutsu roughly translates to ‘the art of flexibility’. Resisting life and it’s changes only adds friction and stops focus. Cultivate balance and be open to change. The world needs more confidence; insecurity only breeds conflict.

Cory Sterling - How To Make Yoga Law Amazing
Tuesday Aug 18, 2020
Tuesday Aug 18, 2020
Cory Sterling is a lawyer, owner of Conscious Counsel law firm, author and yoga teacher. He joins Nathalie today from his new home in Brazil to discuss making law fun, helping people with yoga businesses avoid legal complications and the importance in building transparent relationships.
With his book, ‘The Yoga Law Book: Legal Essentials for Yoga Professionals,’ Cory wanted to help people in the yoga space have a greater awareness of the legalities of business. One of the main concepts he discusses in the book is the practice of shoshin, or having a beginner’s mind. At any moment you can stop and re-evaluate life and see things anew. You can choose to see things fresh, change perspectives and be present at any time.
This leads Cory to discuss relationships. In life and business, relationships are everything. By having strong, transparent relationships you are creating and opening lines of communication and building trust. This allows both sides to have aligned expectations.
Practicing what he has named heart-leading law, Cory tells us the origin of his philosophy and how he brought his message to a wider audience through speaking at Wanderlust in Hawaii. This led to opening his own practice and allowed him the privilege of being able to choose his clients.
To finish the episode, Cory and Nathalie talk about Conscious Counsel and Cory’s mission to make law a more fun and accessible medium. Try and be appreciative in the moment, be present and be conscious.

All About Meditation with Daria
Friday Jul 17, 2020
Friday Jul 17, 2020
Daria is a long-time friend of Nathalie as well as a yoga and meditation teacher who recently traveled to India for a 10-day Vipassana - meditation retreat.
In today’s episode, she will share her monumental experiences with us. After the conversation, Daria treats us to a special 30-minute Vipassana meditation session.
Daria explains why she felt called to travel to India, specifically to the Dalai Lama’s hometown, to expand on her yoga and spiritual teachings. We hear about how temporarily giving up all of her belongings at the temple helped her to truly reconnect with herself. Given Daria’s Russian background, she tells us how she began to get into yoga in Russia as a teenager and what sparked her future calling.
Nathalie dives into common questions asked by newbie meditators, so Daria gives us her answers and advice.
The 30-minute meditation will include three main steps: breathing exercises, primary meditation, and a metta (wishes for welfare and happiness) practice.
Find a quiet, relaxing space where you can sit undisturbed and find a position you will be comfortable in for the full half-hour meditation.
Refresh, replenish, and relax your mind and body alongside Daria.

Money & Spirituality with Chioma Njoku
Tuesday Jul 07, 2020
Tuesday Jul 07, 2020
Chioma Njoku is a successful financial coach and yoga teacher based out of Chicago, Illinois who is all about mindset, spirituality, and of course, money. She currently works with individuals and is looking to expand into working with groups in the future. Chioma tells us her background and how she went from the world of corporate accounting into fully embracing the power and spirituality of being a yoga teacher.
Limited beliefs are a huge factor for many people when it comes to finances. Chioma discusses how she broke through her own limited beliefs and now manifests money on a daily basis.
Furthermore, Chioma helps others to achieve the same by challenging their own beliefs and discovering their “money story.” Surrounding yourself with people who share the same financial views and goals as you can help reinforce your positive money vibes.
Seasons have a purpose and signify regrowth. Nathalie asks how someone that is struggling to find their value can get clear on their purpose, and Chioma shares her tips and insights. The topic of money should be more normalized and we should be comfortable enough to talk about it as though it’s not a big deal. “Master Your Money” is Chioma’s masterclass that combines mindset and skillset to bring some peace around finances to help you to enjoy your life and hard-earned money.
